Scripture Reference Galatians 2:20
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

Lord, I often find myself relying on my own strength and ability. I have been so focused on achieving more, climbing higher, pursuing my own desires. Yet in all these efforts, I have only grown more weary and alone. Today, through Your Word, I understand at last. I abandon myself and ask that Christ alone would live in me. I nail my selfish desires to the cross and long to live only by Your love. Guide my life so that I experience Your grace in every moment, and let my life be a vessel through which Your glory shines. Amen.

Scripture Reference Isaiah 55:1-3
"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters: and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David."

Father, I thank You for Your love. I confess that my heart thirsts for many things of this world—money, success, fame, pleasure—yet none of these can quench my deepest longing. This season, I bring my thirsty soul to You. May I find true satisfaction in Jesus and genuine joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. Let my soul be nourished by Your abundant grace, and let all my spiritual thirst be satisfied in Christ Jesus. I pray this in His holy name. Amen.

"But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee."

O God, help me to hear deeply the voice that calls me by name. In the noise and confusion of this world, I often lose sight of who I am and where I am called to go. Yet through Your Word, I have learned a precious truth: I am Yours, and You love me individually, specifically, and eternally.

As I face the trials and challenges of this week ahead, grant me the grace to hold fast to Your words: "Fear not." I believe that the waters shall not overwhelm me, that the rivers shall not sweep me away, for Your hand shall remain with me always.

Deepen my faith and draw my heart ever closer to You. Replace my fear with Your peace, my doubt with Your trust, my anxiety with Your hope. Guide me this day and every day in paths of righteousness. Amen.

Scripture Reference 1 Peter 1:3-9
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:"

Almighty God, we give thanks for the living hope granted through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, even in this season's heaviness. Though our eyes first turn to present difficulties, strengthen our faith to look toward our eternal inheritance. Grant us to walk forward step by step, trusting that our trials purify our faith. Though we have not seen Jesus, may our love and belief in Him fill our hearts with unspeakable glory and joy. Let Your Spirit protect us and guide us to live in hopeful expectation of Christ's appearing. Amen.

"But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?"

O God, today too I live with many fears and worries. I believe in Jesus, truly, but facing what I see, I often waver and doubt. I confess my faith is weak. Through Peter's story today, You have shown me that even when I am afraid, even when I doubt, You will never let me go. Please hold my hand and guide me.
