📜 Today's Meditation

Peter's words are unsparing. 'Ye killed the Prince of life.' Before the crowd gathered at the temple gate, he strikes without hesitation or softening. How dramatically contradictory—to kill the One who gives life. Yet what follows is even more shocking: 'But God raised him from the dead.' Human beings wrote the final sentence, but God overturned it.

Peter declares fearlessly: 'We are witnesses.' Only weeks before, he had denied Jesus three times before the cock crowed. Now that same Peter stands before thousands as a witness of the resurrection. What transformed this man? An empty tomb and a direct encounter with the risen Jesus. A witness is not one who has heard, but one who has seen.

We too must be witnesses. True, we have not seen with our physical eyes as Peter did. Yet if we experience the power of resurrection in our lives, that becomes testimony. Finding hope in despair, rising again when we thought we would fall, discovering life in situations that felt like death. The resurrection is an event from two thousand years ago, but witnesses are still being made today.

Today, I ask myself: what testimony is my life bearing?

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, I too desire to be a witness of the resurrection. Let my life testify not merely in words, but in the power of resurrection at work within me. Grant me courage to confess You fearlessly, and enable me to reveal the living Christ throughout this day. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
