📜 Today's Meditation

David faces threats from his enemies in this psalm. People are attacking him, stirring chaos all around. Yet in the midst of that turmoil, David makes a quiet confession: "My soul waits upon God."

Silence is not passive resignation—it is an active choice. In chaos, it is choosing not to follow the chaos. Though afraid and anxious, it is the decision to look only toward God. Because this quietness is not easy, David recorded it in song.

"From him comes my salvation." The source of salvation is clear. It does not come from people. It does not come from circumstances. It comes only from Him. Those who know this can be still. If He is our salvation, then waiting is not in vain.

There are days when the heart is unsettled—when many things demand attention and many voices call out. Return to this psalm on those days. Be still. God alone.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, today so many voices pull at my heart. Worry, fear, the words of others. It is not easy to remain quiet and look to You alone. Yet I confess that my salvation comes only from You. Let my soul find rest in You today. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
