📖 Today's Word

"And it came to pass on the morrow, that their rulers, and elders, and scribes, And Annas the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem. And when they had set them in the midst, they asked, By what power, or by what name, have ye done this? Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day are examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

📜 Today's Meditation

When Peter and John were brought before the council for healing a crippled beggar, they could have been afraid. But instead, they experienced the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Before the powerful rulers and their questions, Peter testified boldly in the name of Jesus. This wasn't mere human courage—it was the boldness that comes from the filling of the Holy Spirit.

The same is true in our lives. When we fear the world's judgment, when we shrink back before worldly authority and power, we must seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit. Look at how bold Peter became simply by the name of Jesus. That is the power the Holy Spirit provides.

Jesus was the stone the builders rejected, yet He became the cornerstone. What the world discarded, God exalted. And so it is with us. We don't know how God will use us when the world sees us as weak. What matters is not our strength or status, but the name of Jesus.

There is no other name of salvation on this earth. Only the name of Jesus brings true salvation, true healing, true transformation. Stand boldly in His name before every situation you face today. The Holy Spirit will fill you with power.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, fill me today with the fullness of Your Holy Spirit. When I shrink back before the world's judgment and authority, help me remember the power of Jesus' name. Give me the courage to witness boldly like Peter. Help me believe that only Your name is the true answer in every situation I face, and enable me to stand completely upon it. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
