📜 Today's Meditation

In our relationships, we encounter diverse people and live together. Sometimes friction arises from different perspectives, but Paul's counsel to the Ephesian church teaches us the most fundamental attitudes we must maintain. Humility means acknowledging that our own thoughts are not absolute; gentleness means keeping a tender heart toward others.

The life Jesus lived for us was always filled with humility and gentleness. He showed the true meaning of service by washing His disciples' feet, and when meeting sinners, He did not condemn them but treated them with forgiveness and love. We are called to follow this example.

Patience is not mere endurance—it is endurance flowing from a heart full of love. We can bear with others' shortcomings because we ourselves have already been abundantly forgiven and loved by God. From this understanding, we naturally become able to embrace others.

Striving to maintain unity in love is not passive—it is active effort, using all our abilities and will to cherish relationships and preserve community. In each relationship and each community, the small acts of humility and gentleness we display gather together to create great power of love. Today, when you meet someone, strive first to be humble and gentle toward them.

🙏 Today's Prayer

God, give me a humble heart today. Help me remember that my thoughts and positions are not absolute, and give me ears to listen to others. Fill my words and actions with gentleness so they do not wound others. When patience fails me, help me remember the love and forgiveness Jesus showed us. Help me become someone who maintains unity in love in every relationship I encounter. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
