"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."

Jesus spoke these words to comfort His troubled disciples. Understanding their anxiety as the cross drew near, He encouraged them to trust in God and in Him. This was no mere comfort, but a certain promise of God's faithful love.
In our lives too, anxiety finds us in many forms. Uncertainty about the future, present difficulties, health concerns, and worries about loved ones weigh upon our hearts. In such moments, we recognize how precious Jesus's words truly are. The best we can do is lay down our worries and trust in God.
God knows all things about me and has already prepared my future. Just as a parent prepares a home for their children, God is preparing an eternal dwelling place for us. The present difficulties are not all there is; our lives rest within God's perfect plan. When we accept this promise, we experience true peace.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You for knowing all my anxieties and fears. Like Jesus, I desire to trust and believe in You. Help me to deeply believe that even on the uncertain path of my life, You have already prepared a dwelling place for me, and grant me to find peace in that faith. I humbly ask that You help me to lay down my present worries and live a life trusting in Your faithful love. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
