Salvation Prayer
📖 Bible Verses
📜 Meditation
The salvation prayer is not a magic formula. It has three key elements.
First, acknowledgment. Recognizing that I am a sinner and cannot save myself.
Second, faith. Believing in my heart that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose again.
Third, commitment. Accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior and deciding to follow Him.
What comes after the prayer matters even more. You should read the Bible, pray, attend church, and fellowship with other believers to grow in faith.
🙏 Prayer
God, I am a sinner. I come before You knowing I cannot make it on my own. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for my sins and rose again. I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. From this moment on, Jesus is the Lord of my life. Guide me as I begin this new life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
🙏 Prayers
Salvation Prayer (Traditional)
God, I am a sinner. I confess that I have been living by my own will. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. At this moment, I accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior. Forgive all my sins and be with me through Your Holy Spirit. From now on, I will live as Your child according to Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray. Amen.
Salvation Prayer (Contemporary)
God, please come into my life and transform me. I've realized I can't handle this life on my own. I believe Jesus came for me. Jesus, I'm opening the door of my heart. Please come in and be the Lord of my life. I want to start over as a new person. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Salvation Prayer (For Children/Youth)
Dear God, I want to become Your child too. Please forgive what I've done wrong. I believe Jesus loved me so much that He died on the cross and rose again. Jesus, please come into my heart. From now on, I will believe in and follow You. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
Rededication Prayer (For Those Returning)
God, forgive the time I wandered away from You. Like the prodigal son, I return to the Father's arms. Once again I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord, and this time I will follow You to the end. Rekindle the fire in my cooled faith. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
