1 Timothy 1:12-14
📖 Today's Word

"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus."

📜 Today's Meditation

The Apostle Paul reflects on his past with deep gratitude. Once a blasphemer and persecutor of Jesus's disciples, he is now a servant of the Lord. He understands that this remarkable transformation came not through his own effort or understanding, but entirely through Jesus's grace and power.

We too carry the weight of past mistakes as we navigate our present lives. God knows our weakness, and regardless of our condition, He continues to love us and grants us power. The grace Paul experienced is not merely one man's story—it is a gift given to all who believe in Jesus. Our Lord accepts us as we are and shapes us into faithful servants through His transforming power.

Paul also testifies that through this grace, his faith and love have become abundant. Those who experience Jesus's grace naturally grow deeper in their faith toward God and expand their love toward others. This is not an external demand but a natural overflow from a transformed heart.

Today, let us feel the abundance of Jesus's grace. Let us not despair because of past failures and shortcomings, but look to the Lord who strengthens us. Within Jesus's grace, our faith will grow and our love will flourish abundantly.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord Jesus, we thank you for strengthening us. We often become discouraged by our past mistakes and inadequacies, but we are grateful that your grace covers all of this. Lord, please help faith and love to grow abundantly in the depths of our hearts. Enable us, like Paul, to experience your grace and live lives of faithful service to you. Thank you for using us despite our weakness. We pray in your name. Amen.
