📖 Today's Word

"That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us: For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring."

📜 Today's Meditation

In his proclamation at the Areopagus, Paul unveiled a fundamental truth that bridges the distance between God and humanity. When he speaks of people groping for God like one fumbling in darkness, he acknowledges our deepest spiritual hunger—the instinctive yearning of the soul for its Creator. Yet the most remarkable revelation comes with his declaration: God is not far from any one of us. He is not a distant deity confined to sacred temples or holy hours. Rather, God dwells within the fabric of our existence itself. Every breath we take, every movement we make, every moment of being unfolds within the embrace of God's sustaining presence and power. This is not a God we must travel far to find, but One whose life animates our own at every instant.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Almighty God, thank You for the breath in my lungs and the life that flows through my being. Open my eyes to perceive Your presence in this very moment, in the ordinary rhythms of my daily existence. I confess that I have often sought You in distant places, forgetting that You have been near all along. Grant me the grace to recognize Your hand in every step, Your life in every heartbeat. As I move through this day, help me to live with the awareness that I am truly Your offspring, sustained by Your power and surrounded by Your love. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
