When we enter a new season, we often focus only on external changes. But the Apostle Paul reminds us that true transformation begins at the heart of love. To be an imitator of God is not to pursue grand accomplishments, but to act with love in the small relationships we encounter daily. Every person we meet, every difficult circumstance, every unexpected opportunity is a place to practice love.
The love with which Jesus gave Himself for us is not calculated. It is unconditional devotion, not because we are worthy enough, but because of His unfailing commitment to us. When we experience such love, we naturally desire to extend the same kind of love to others. To imitate God is to enter into the cycle of His love.
Today, show an unexpected kindness to one person you meet. It might be a word, a gesture, or the gift of your time. This is how we reflect God's image through the action of love. We do this in the faith that our small acts become a sweet-smelling offering to God.
🙏 Today's Prayer
God, we feel deeply once again the unconditional love of Jesus toward us. We pray that this love may flow like living water through our hearts and transform into love for others. Help us to approach the people we meet today with genuine interest and a warm heart. Teach us to treasure small things and give us courage to act with love without calculation. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
