When Jesus spoke these words, He addressed people burdened by heavy religious obligations and expectations. Like them, we carry unseen weight—pressure to succeed, others' expectations, feelings of inadequacy, and endless worry. These burdens exhaust our souls and steal our joy.
"I will give you rest" is not merely physical relaxation. It speaks of deep spiritual peace and tranquility of heart. When we release our burdens and come to Jesus, He restores our weary souls and renews our strength. He understands our weakness and willingly shares our load.
Today, acknowledge the heavy burdens you carry. Bring them to Jesus. In His presence, find healing and peace. A new day awaits.

Beloved Jesus, my heart is heavy with worry and fear. I have driven myself relentlessly by the world's standards. Yet You invite me, saying "Come to Me." Thank You for this extraordinary invitation. I lay all my burdens at Your feet—my hidden fears, my self-doubt, my regrets. In Your rest, may my soul be healed and renewed. Grant me strength to rise again in Your grace and mercy. In Jesus' name, Amen.
