People stand helpless before death, yet Jesus declared to Martha and Mary: "I am the resurrection and the life." This is not mere comfort—it is the declaration that Christ Himself is both resurrection and life itself. He announced that death is not the end.

To believe in Jesus means to embrace faith that transcends death. "Though he were dead, yet shall he live" speaks of transformation: physical death is not eternal death. Through Christ, we experience spiritual resurrection right now—awakening from spiritual death to new life in this very moment.

Jesus also promised: "whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." Our bodies may perish, but the soul of one who believes in Christ never dies. This is the heart of Christian faith—the conviction that death is not the final judgment, but the beginning of eternal communion with Christ.

Whatever trials and fears we face today, through Jesus we live as those who have already overcome. Steadfast faith before death, hope toward eternal life—this is our faith. Just as Lazarus was raised from death, we too are people who claim the promise of eternal resurrection in Christ.
