📜 Today's Meditation

Our lives are often shaken by waves of worry and fear. When anxiety about the future, present difficulties, and past regrets disturb our hearts, where can we find solid ground? The psalmist counsels our soul: "Wait only upon God; for my expectation is from him." This is not merely about sitting in silence, but about setting aside all noise and distractions to gaze upon God alone.

God is our rock. A rock does not move, does not waver, and does not change. Though all things in this world may change, God remains constant and faithful. Our salvation and security rest in the hands of a powerful God. What we can trust is not our own ability or wisdom, but the eternal love of God who guards and protects us.

The declaration "I shall not be moved" does not mean we experience no fear. Rather, it is the assurance that even in the midst of fear, we need not be shaken. Just as the mighty walls of a fortress endure through wind and storm, so too can our soul stand firm when grounded in God. This confidence does not arise from our own efforts, but from the truth that God Himself is our hope.

What threatens to shake you today? Entrust it all to God, and keep your eyes fixed upon the One who remains steadfast. Your soul can stand like a rock, unmovable upon Him.

🙏 Today's Prayer

O God, my heart is troubled by many things this day. Anxiety about tomorrow and the struggles of today shake my foundation. Yet I turn my soul toward You alone. Help me deeply understand that You are my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. Grant me the strength to stand firm in You, and give me faith that trusts You in every circumstance, so that I shall not be moved. Amen.
