Today, we carry similar burdens—performance expectations, responsibilities, endless demands. We're exhausted. The word translated "rest" is richer than mere sleep; it means renewal, restoration. Jesus invites us to lay down our heavy loads and be refreshed in His presence. That's the gospel.
