Think of Joshua's situation. Moses, the greatest leader Israel had ever known, had just died. Now Joshua had to lead millions of Israelites into the Promised Land. The Jordan River lay before them, and the fortified walls of Jericho stood as an immovable obstacle.
In this moment of overwhelming challenge, God says: "Be strong and courageous." But notice—it's not about Joshua's abilities. It's because God will be with him. His courage doesn't rest on his own strength; it rests on God's presence.
The same is true for us. Our boldness doesn't come from our own capabilities. It comes from knowing that God walks with us. When fear threatens to overwhelm you, hold onto this one truth: "God is with me."
🙏 Today's Prayer
Dear God, I am afraid. What lies ahead seems far too great for me to face. But because You are with me, I will be brave. Help me to rely not on my own strength, but on Your presence and guidance. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
