"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."

Love is not a fleeting emotion; it is patient endurance. When we truly love someone, it is not proven by one or two good feelings, but by daily choices and decisions to stand together even in hard times. Jesus showed us this patient love by going to the cross for us. When His love dwells deeply in our hearts, we truly understand what authentic love means.
Gentleness and freedom from envy reveal the humble nature of those who love. Love does not seek its own gain first; it longs for another's joy and flourishing. When we can rejoice in another's success without jealousy and share in their happiness, that is true evidence of love. With a heart free from boasting and pride, we honor others and acknowledge their worth.
Love thinks no evil. It is not love to constantly dredge up someone's mistakes or continually reproach them for past wrongs. True love forgives, grants new beginnings, and looks toward the better self in the other. Just as God forgave all our sins and gave us new life, we too must forgive and encourage those we love.
Love beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things. In this world's trials, we do not lose hope. Even when relationships are difficult or circumstances are hard, we trust in love's power and endure. In God's love, we can bear all things and overcome all things. May you show that love with a gentle heart to someone today.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Lord Jesus, grant me a heart of true love. Help me to be patient, gentle, and free from envy as I love my neighbor. Teach me to seek not my own interest but to share in the joy of others. Cleanse my heart of evil thoughts and fill it with forgiveness and encouragement. In these difficult times, grant me strong faith to trust in love's power and endure all things. Let the love of Your cross flow through my life so that I may become a true comfort and hope to others. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
