📜 Today's Meditation

As Easter approaches, we may find our souls cast down and our minds troubled by present difficulties and uncertainty about the future. In such times, we often lose sight of God. Yet the psalmist encourages us: look to God. When all seems difficult, turning our eyes toward the Lord's face is the beginning of our soul's restoration.

Looking to the Lord's face is not escape or avoidance. It is acknowledging our reality while also grasping a greater truth that transcends it—that God is with us, that He loves us, that He works for us. This is the true foundation of gratitude.

As Easter draws near, we remember Jesus's victory over death. His resurrection shows us that all our despair and discouragement can be overcome. The Lord's resurrection demonstrates that our downcast souls too can rise again.

When anxiety weighs upon us, our souls must rise again toward the Lord. We must seek His help and turn our eyes toward His face. This is the path back to a grateful spirit.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, I thank You for my downcast soul in this hour. Help me stand again in the truth that You know me and care for me. As we enter this Easter season, let my eyes behold the glory of Jesus's resurrection. Transform my spirit so that I may look upon Your face rather than my fears and anxieties, and give thanks. I lay all my discouragement at Your feet and choose to trust in Your power and love. Amen.
