Aaron's Blessing. You've probably heard this blessing pronounced by your pastor at the end of worship service.
Pay attention to the three repetitions of "The LORD." God is the sole source of blessing. It's not a blessing you earn through your efforts—it's a blessing God graciously gives.
The phrase "lift up his countenance upon thee" is beautifully warm. If God turned away His face, it would feel like abandonment. But lifting His face toward you means He's paying attention, watching over you, and loving you.

God, bless me and keep me. Make Your face shine upon me and show me Your grace. Turn Your face toward me and never look away. Thank You for Your loving gaze upon me. Grant me peace today. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
