"There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love."
— 1 John 4:18

This passage reveals a profound truth: love and fear cannot coexist. As love grows stronger, fear diminishes; conversely, when fear takes hold, love withers away.
Many of us serve God from a place of fear—afraid of punishment, afraid of rejection. Yet God does not desire such a relationship. He seeks a relationship rooted in love.
Consider a child: when afraid of their father, they keep their distance. But when they love their father, they run toward him joyfully. God is a Father who longs for us to run toward Him, drawn not by obligation or dread, but by love.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Lord, help us approach You with love rather than fear. Grant us the faith to come before You as Your beloved children, not driven by the dread of punishment, but drawn by Your boundless love. Let Your perfect love cast out every fear that dwells in our hearts. In Jesus' name, Amen.
