Ang maikling pastoral na panalangin ay may sariling kagandahan. Hindi lahat ng pagkakataon ay nangangailangan ng mahabang panalangin — kung minsan, ang maigsi at taimtim na panalangin ang pinakamakapangyarihan.
Ang susi sa maikling pastoral na panalangin: 1) Simulan sa papuri, 2) Magpasalamat nang maikli, 3) Manalangin para sa kongregasyon, 4) Tapusin sa pangalan ni Jesus.
Alalahanin — ang halaga ng panalangin ay hindi sa haba nito kundi sa katapatan nito.

Mapagmahal na Diyos, salamat sa pagtitipon Mo sa amin para sa pagsamba. Buksan Mo ang aming mga puso sa Iyong Salita ngayon. Pagpalain Mo ang bawat isa na naririto at samahan Mo kami sa buong linggo. Sa pangalan ni Jesus, Amen.
