As autumn deepens, nature teaches us profound spiritual lessons. The parable of the sower that Jesus taught applies directly to our lives. When we plant the seed of faith, all we can do is plant it faithfully. Everything after that belongs to God's domain.
Many believers wonder when the seeds they have sown will grow and what kind of fruit they will bear. But Jesus teaches us that it is natural not to know these things. We must live our daily lives, day and night, trusting and waiting for the seeds of faith we have planted to grow in ways we cannot see. This is the essence of genuine faith.
The saying that the earth brings forth fruit by itself carries deep meaning. It does not mean our efforts are meaningless, but rather that God works beyond our efforts. First comes the hidden blade, then the ear, and finally the full grain. At each stage, God's hand is at work.
The season of harvest will surely come. The faithfulness with which we have sown and the patience with which we have waited will be revealed at that time. As autumn brings change, we too must reflect on our spiritual growth, give thanks for our journey of faith, and pray for more abundant fruit to come. God's timing is always perfect, and our patience will surely be rewarded.

O God, we thank You for giving us faith to trust and wait for the seeds of faith we have sown, even when we do not know how they grow. We are grateful to Jesus, who works beyond our efforts. In this season of autumn's change, may our souls continue to grow and mature. We pray that what we have sown will bear fruit full and ripe in Your time. Holy Spirit, grant us patience and a grateful heart, that we may endure in faith until the day of harvest comes.
