"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear"
— 1 Peter 3:15

When we live by faith, our testimony extends far beyond our personal beliefs. People around us witness the joy and peace that flows from our lives. Even in difficult circumstances, those who refuse to lose hope, who give thanks in crisis, leave a profound impression on hearts around them. We must be prepared to explain why we live this way to those who wonder.
The command to be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you carries deep responsibility. This doesn't mean we need to deliver grand sermons. Rather, it's about honestly sharing how God has worked in our lives, what transformation has come from following Jesus. Each of our testimonies can be an invitation from God to another soul.
To sanctify God as Lord in the depths of our hearts means placing Jesus at the center of all our decisions and actions. When we do this, our lives naturally become a testimony. When the world is negative but we still trust, when everyone is afraid but we still hold hope—the reason is Jesus. The depth to which this truth takes root in our lives is our strongest testimony.
Today, may our lives witness to Jesus through our actions. When someone asks us, "Why do you live this way?" consider it a blessing. That moment is an opportunity to share God's grace.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Lord, help me sanctify You as the Lord in the deepest part of my heart. Let my life bear witness to Jesus not only in words but in actions. When someone asks me about the reason for my hope, give me courage to speak without fear, sharing Jesus's love and grace with sincerity. Holy Spirit, open my lips and govern my heart. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
