"Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
— Matthew 28:20

The risen Jesus gave His disciples a final command that is both simple and profound: to teach all nations everything He had shown them through love and truth. This commission was not only for the disciples of that time, but for believers of every generation, including us. In our daily lives, we are called to practice Christ's love and bear witness to His truth.
The promise, "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world," is the greatest comfort we receive as we undertake this mission. Jesus did not send His disciples alone, and neither are we alone. Though our faith journey may sometimes feel lonely and difficult, Jesus is present with us in every moment.
When we truly believe this promise, our lives are transformed. We can move forward without fear, with boldness and courage. In everything we do and every word we speak, Jesus is with us. Whether at work, at home, or among our neighbors, the assurance of walking with Jesus renews our hearts.
When Jesus commanded us to teach and observe all things, He meant more than simply accumulating knowledge. It means treasuring His words in our hearts and living according to them. Our actions, our choices, and the way we build relationships must all reflect the teachings of Christ.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus, we give thanks to You, the risen Savior. How grateful we are for Your promise to be with us until the end of the world. Help us never to forget this promise, and to believe it anew each day. When loneliness and fear come upon us, remind us that Jesus is at our side. Enable us to live out the love and truth You have taught us, and to bear witness to others around us. By the power of the Holy Spirit, help us to follow You with courage and joy today and always. Amen.
