📖 Today's Word

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart."

📜 Today's Meditation

Anxiety about the future is an emotion we all experience. The unknown tomorrow, unpredictable changes—these can be frightening and sometimes overwhelming. Yet our God promises us something remarkable. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil," is far more than a mere consolation. It is God Almighty's declaration that He already sees our future and that His plan for us is filled with peace and hope.

When we cry out and pray, does the Lord truly hear our voice? God has promised to hear our cries and answer them. But there is a condition to receive this answer: "when ye shall search for me with all your heart." We must seek the Lord not with half-hearted faith but with our whole being. When we pray not merely with words but with genuine trust in Him, we encounter Him.

This promise applies to all believers. That God's thoughts are toward us means that even in all our anxiety, all our fears, all our despair, the Lord gives us a future and hope. This does not mean our present difficulties will vanish, but that God's good intention accompanies us even in our struggles.

Today, or in the days ahead, anxiety may come. But if we pray to the Lord and seek Him with all our heart, we will experience His peace. When our small faith and prayers reach God, He will answer in unexpected ways and open new paths before us.

🙏 Today's Prayer

O God, Thou knowest the anxieties of my heart. Fear of the future presseth upon my soul. Yet I give thanks for Thy promise that Thou seest my future and hast placed peace and hope within it. Let my soul seek Thee with all its might and fervent desire. Grant that I may experience Thy answer, and in every moment of my life, feel Thy presence. Perfect Thy good will in all my days. Amen.
