📜 Today's Meditation

When Jesus spoke these words before Lazarus's tomb, He was not merely making a promise—He was proclaiming the most fundamental truth of the universe. In the face of human mortality, an seemingly inevitable fate, Jesus revealed Himself as the One who has conquered death itself. This embodies the true meaning of Easter, transcending a mere historical event to become an ongoing reality in each believer's spiritual journey.

Within the words "I am the resurrection, and the life" lies profound comfort. Before our deepest fears—death itself, situations that seem hopeless—Jesus becomes our refuge. Though death's finality overwhelms us, faith in Jesus allows us to look beyond it. This is the power of faith, the greatest privilege a Christian can experience.

The promise "he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" speaks of spiritual life present here and now. In the moment we encounter Jesus on this earth and believe in Him, we already enter into eternal life. This freedom from death's terror, this living in something greater—this is the true meaning of resurrection.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord Jesus, You are my resurrection and my life, even in the face of fear and despair before death. Help me not to lose the hope of eternity as I trust in You through all the difficulties of this world. Grant me to experience the eternal life already begun in You through my moment-by-moment encounter with Your living presence, and lead me to know the power of resurrection working within me. Amen.
