📜 Today's Meditation

As Easter approaches, the words of Jesus echo deeply within us: "I am the resurrection and the life." When Mary stood weeping at the tomb, Jesus revealed that His declaration transcended mere words—it carried the power of the universe itself.

It is natural that we fear death. Yet when Jesus proclaimed Himself the resurrection, He told us that death is not our final destination. Those who believe in Him shall "live, though they were dead." Our lives do not end with the death of our earthly bodies; rather, we pass through death into eternal life.

More remarkable still is His promise: "Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die." This speaks of wholeness—both spiritual and physical. Even now, as we walk with Jesus in this age, we already live within eternal life. Death loses its dominion over our souls.

Easter is not merely remembrance of a past event, but a proclamation of our present spiritual reality. Christ's resurrection is the beginning of our own spiritual resurrection, empowering us to live each day with renewed hearts and strength. When death and despair surround us, we look upon the risen Christ and discover fresh hope.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Risen Jesus, we thank You for calling us and leading us forward. When death and despair threaten to overwhelm us, help us remember that You are our resurrection and our life. Grant us to understand that through faith in You, we have already entered the way of eternal life. Renew our hearts and spirits, and teach us to live each day in the hope of resurrection. Let the power of Your resurrection work throughout every area of our lives as a testimony of new life. We pray in Your name. Amen.
