📜 Today's Meditation

If you're a parent, you've likely read this verse before—Solomon's wisdom on raising children. But what does "the way he should go" really mean? The Hebrew suggests something deeper: "according to his own way." Each child has their own unique path, and our role is to guide them in the direction suited to their character, not to force them into a predetermined mold.

And notice the promise: "when he is old, he will not depart from it." The foundation we build in childhood lasts a lifetime. Yes, children rebel during adolescence—they may seem to abandon everything we taught them. Yet that deep root remains. Our job is to plant the seed with patience; God's job is to bring the harvest in His time.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, grant us wisdom to guide our children not toward our expectations, but toward their true calling. Help us see each child's unique gifts and nurture them according to their design, not ours. Give us patience to plant seeds and faith to trust Your timing. May our children walk in Your way all their days. In Jesus' name, Amen.
