"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
— Matthew 6:33

In the previous verses, Jesus told us not to worry about food or clothing. Here, He offers a solution: "Seek first the kingdom of God."
The word "first" is crucial. It's about priority. Your concern about daily survival shouldn't be your number one priority—God's will should be. When we get the order right, everything else follows as a promise.
It's natural to wonder if this is practical. Bills need to be paid, tuition fees must be covered. But this isn't about ignoring financial responsibility. It's about reordering your priorities.
🙏 Today's Prayer
God, help us to live a life that seeks Your kingdom first. Grant us the courage to not be consumed by worries about survival, but instead to prioritize Your will in all we do. We believe that You will provide all that we need. We pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
