If you had to summarize the entire Bible in a single sentence, this would be it. God's love, Jesus's sacrifice, and the promise of eternal life are all woven into these words.
Pay attention to the phrase "so loved." How much? Enough to give His only Son—His one and only. This is a level of love almost impossible to comprehend.
And notice "whosoever believeth." No conditions. No qualifying exams. No background checks. Just believe. This simplicity is the heart of the Gospel.
🙏 Today's Prayer
Dear God, thank You for loving the world so much that You gave Your only Son. Help me grasp the depth of this love in new ways each day. Thank You for the grace of eternal life, given simply through faith. Help me share this love with others. In Jesus's name, Amen.
