"Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings? and not one of them is forgotten before God. But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows."
-- Luke 12:6-7

How often do we doubt our own worth in this world? The sparrow is the most insignificant of birds. Five of them sell for mere pennies—worthless by worldly standards. Yet Jesus tells us that not even one sparrow is forgotten before God. God sees and cares for what appears worthless in our eyes.
We are no different. Through the world's perspective, how small and insignificant we can feel. We may have failed, are ordinary, sometimes struggle, and go unnoticed. Yet God values each of us far more than these sparrows. We are created in God's image, and we are the objects of His love.
When we feel worthless in our daily lives, when loneliness strikes, when despair whispers that no one cares, remember this: God sees you. God knows and treasures every tear you shed, every small effort you make, every prayer you whisper. Even when you forget yourself and the world ignores you, God never forgets you.

Heavenly Father, I often feel like an insignificant being. Yet You have assured me that You see every moment of my life. Thank You for valuing me so. Today, help me understand my true worth, and grant me the strength to trust fully in Your love. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
