📖 Today's Word

"Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters: and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David."

— Isaiah 55:1-3

📜 Today's Meditation

Summer calls us to quench our thirst, and in this season, the prophet Isaiah's voice rings clear: "Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters." This is not merely a cry about physical thirst, but God's gentle invitation to those whose souls are parched. We try to fill the deep longings within us with money, possessions, achievements, and pleasures. Yet none of these truly satisfy the deep thirst of our spirit.

God speaks to us with grace: "Come, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price." We need not earn His blessings through our own goodness. We need only come to Him thirsty, and He offers everything freely. This is the heart of God's grace—when we are empty, weary, and broken, He gives without condition.

"Eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness." God's provision is not mere satisfaction but deep soul nourishment and joy. Fellowship with Jesus Christ, the comfort and guidance of the Holy Spirit—these offer spiritual sustenance that no earthly thing can provide.

Today, let us answer God's call. Acknowledge the thirst of our souls, come to Jesus, and ask Him to satisfy that longing. Then we shall experience true soul satisfaction.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Father, I thank You for Your love. I confess that my heart thirsts for many things of this world—money, success, fame, pleasure—yet none of these can quench my deepest longing. This season, I bring my thirsty soul to You. May I find true satisfaction in Jesus and genuine joy and peace in the Holy Spirit. Let my soul be nourished by Your abundant grace, and let all my spiritual thirst be satisfied in Christ Jesus. I pray this in His holy name. Amen.
