📜 Today's Meditation

True love is rare in this world, yet John 3:16 reveals to us the love of God, the source of all love. God's love is unlike anything we experience—it is unconditional, without calculation, and not dependent on our worth or actions. It is absolute love.

The phrase "he gave his only begotten Son" shows how concrete and tangible God's love truly is. Jesus is not merely a symbol or a promise. He is God's only Son, and the One who possessed all things gave His life. This reveals the depth and seriousness of God's love for us. Each of us is precious enough in God's eyes to be the object of Jesus' sacrificial death on the cross.

Our part is to believe in and accept this love. "Whosoever believeth in him" shows that this salvation is open to all. Status matters not, past mistakes matter not, abilities matter not. We need only believe in Jesus and accept His love. This faith saves us from destruction and leads us to eternal life.

Eternal life does not refer only to the afterlife. It means beginning a new life with Jesus right here, right now. To know God's love and dwell in it is already the beginning of eternal life. Peace replaces fear, hope replaces despair, freedom replaces the burden of sin.

Today, let us deeply consider how much God loves us. In that love, we are safe, protected, and accepted as we are. Imagine how this truth might transform each day. When God's love takes deep root in our hearts, we will naturally share that love with others.

🙏 Today's Prayer

God of love, once again today I recognize Your infinite love. Nothing in this world compares to how much You love us. My heart is humbled before Your love, which secured our salvation by giving Your only Son, Jesus. Thank You for accepting us even in our weakness, as we seek to trust and follow You. Let Your love become the center of our lives, and grant us true peace and joy within it. Give us courage to share Your love with those around us every time we recognize it. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
