La prière pastorale est la prière que quelqu'un offre au nom de toute l'assemblée pendant le culte. C'est un privilège et une responsabilité.
Hébreux 4 :16 nous encourage : « Approchons-nous donc avec assurance du trône de la grâce. » La prière pastorale commence avec cette confiance — nous venons devant Dieu non par notre propre mérite, mais par la grâce.
Une bonne prière pastorale inclut : la louange et l'adoration, la reconnaissance pour la semaine passée, la confession et la repentance, l'intercession pour l'Église et ses membres, la prière pour le message du jour, et la prière pour la semaine à venir.
N'essayez pas de faire une prière parfaite. Priez avec sincérité au nom de l'assemblée.

Loving God, bless every family in our church. Let love and respect overflow between husbands and wives. Give parents wisdom in raising children and give children hearts that honor their parents. Quelle devrait être la durée d'une prière pastorale ?
En général, 2 à 3 minutes sont appropriées pour une prière pastorale du culte dominical. Trop courte, elle risque de ne pas unir les cœurs de l'assemblée, trop longue, elle peut briser la concentration. Pour les occasions spéciales (réveils, veillées de prière), la durée peut être allongée.
