📜 Today's Meditation

God has given each of us unique gifts. Perhaps it is the ability to create music, to share God's Word, or to work skillfully with our hands. These gifts are not meant to glorify ourselves alone, but to serve and bless those around us.

When Peter writes about "ministering" our gifts, he speaks of something deeper than simple help. It is the act of meeting another's need with love and compassion. Each time we use the gifts we have received, we follow Christ's example of servant leadership. Remember how Jesus washed His disciples' feet—with humility and genuine care. This is the spirit of service we are called to embody.

The phrase "good steward" carries profound meaning. A steward manages what belongs to another, caring for it faithfully. Our gifts are not truly ours; they are entrusted to us by God. We are accountable to Him for how we use them. A faithful steward treasures what has been given, develops it wisely, and uses it rightly.

Today, consider how your gifts might serve someone. An encouraging word, a hand-made gift, or a listening ear can bring comfort to those around you. Do not underestimate your abilities. Even the smallest gift can become a great blessing to someone in need. God desires that our gifts warm this world and reflect His love.

When we share our gifts with love, we fulfill our calling as God's stewards. This is how we build His kingdom in our daily lives. May we live as faithful stewards, using what we have been given to serve others with the heart of Christ.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Almighty Father, I thank You for the gifts You have given me. There are days when I feel my abilities are small and insufficient. Yet You know my heart and have entrusted me with these gifts. Help me to value what You have given me and use it to serve those around me. May my hands, my words, and my heart become instruments of Your love. Open my eyes to see the needs of others and give me courage to serve. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
