📜 Today's Meditation

A new month begins today. On this first day of June, we look back on the past month and reflect on the days ahead. The words of the prophet Micah resonate deeply with our hearts. We already know what God requires of us—not through complex religious ceremonies or grand achievements, but through a simple yet profound way of living.

What does it mean to do justly? It means helping the weak, protecting the wronged, and standing against falsehood and dishonesty. Every day brings opportunities to practice justice in our everyday lives. We can start small: treat our neighbors with honesty, keep our promises, and speak up for what is right.

To love mercy is to extend toward others the same deep love and compassion that God has shown us. It means forgiving, understanding, sharing, and encouraging one another. This must go beyond our natural feelings and be expressed through intentional action. Each day we can bring warmth into someone's life.

And humility. To walk humbly with God means acknowledging our limitations and recognizing that we are in His hands. It means not boasting about our accomplishments, judging others, or relying solely on our own abilities. Instead, we trust in the Lord, follow His guidance, and entrust our lives to Him.

These three virtues—justice, mercy, and humility—hold deeper meaning than complex religious rules. They reveal the kind of person we desire to become. The Lord does not ask us to be perfect, but to walk with Him with genuine hearts.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Lord, as this new month begins this morning, I thank You for the word You have given me. Grant me the grace to practice justice in my life, to show mercy, and to walk humbly before You. When I grow weak and stumble, help me to rise again by Your grace. May even my smallest efforts serve Your purpose. Amen.
