📜 Today's Meditation

Jesus promised His disciples that after His ascension, they would receive the power of the Holy Spirit to become His witnesses throughout the world. The disciples were afraid at first—they had been following Jesus, and now they were expected to go out into the world. But Jesus assured them they would not be alone; they would receive the Holy Spirit's power.

On the day of Pentecost, about 2,000 years ago, 120 disciples gathered in the upper room in Jerusalem to pray. The Holy Spirit came upon them like tongues of fire. In that moment, Peter, who was once afraid, stood up boldly and testified about Jesus before 3,000 people. This is the power of the Holy Spirit.

We too are believers who have received the same Holy Spirit. Sometimes we feel our weaknesses deeply. Our knowledge, experience, and words may seem insufficient. But the Holy Spirit works within us. When Jesus said "from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth," He was not merely referring to geographical boundaries. He meant that we should testify about Jesus in our daily lives, in our homes, in our workplaces, and before all the people we meet.

Living as a believer in the power of the Holy Spirit begins with overcoming fear. When we remember that the Holy Spirit is with us, we can be bold in every situation. May you live today seeking the power of the Holy Spirit.

🙏 Today's Prayer

Dear God, I thank You for giving me the Holy Spirit. In this age, make my weakness complete in You, and help me live boldly testifying about Jesus. Instead of fear, let me experience the power of the Holy Spirit, and help me become a faithful servant who can share the good news of the gospel with those around me. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
